“ERBE” High Quality Cooked Ham

Obtained using only carefully selected pork thighs, which are flavored thanks to our natural infusion of spices and aromatic plants, the result of the recipe created by Luigi Vida in 1966, which gives the unmistakable taste of “Erbe Vida.” After a long massaging phase where the thigh is lightly chilled, it is shaped out of the mold, embellished with a special composition of only fresh herbs, and tied thanks to the skilled hands of our pork butchers. The cooking phase is slow and steamed, to preserve the best characteristics of the meat, and is the final touch in the processing of this masterpiece of taste.

The exterior color is typically pinkish, the result of slow steaming. The slice is soft and firm, able to melt in the mouth like a true High Quality Ham. The Prosciutto is sweet and delicately flavored, with just the right balance of salt.

TASTING AND PAIRING
In order for it to release the typical aromas of cooking as well as the flavors of the best fresh herbs, Prosciutto “Erbe” should be eaten not too cold and thinly sliced with a slicing machine.
